Best Christmas Light Displays in Cleveland

‘Twas the weekend before Christmas and all through the city, people were looking for bright lights that are pretty.

I know, that rhyme was really bad. To make up for it, I searched for some of the best Christmas Light display in Northeast Ohio that you can go to this weekend! It’s a tradition to put up lights for Christmas, but it is even better when people go ALL OUT on their displays. Here are some of the great Christmas Light Displays that I found in Cleveland so that you, your family, or your friends can get even more into the Christmas spirit (if it is even possible)! Be sure to click on the links for more information on displays.

1.       Cleveland Public Square Christmas Lights. You have to start downtown and see Cleveland’s own Winter Wonderland! It is completely FREE and you are right in the heart of the city!

2.       Crown Point Parkway Festival of Lights. Located in Strongsville, this small street goes all out for their free display! One of the houses was even featured on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight in 2015!

3.       While you are in Strongsville, swing by the City of Strongsville's Winter Wonderland Lights for free! Located on the corner of SR 82 (Royalton Rd) and SR 42 (Pearl Rd), you can see Santa’s Sparkle Peppermint Palace, tunnels of lights, a 40 ft. Christmas tree and more!

4.       Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Wild Winter Lights. Stop by the Zoo this weekend and see all the beautiful displays (and maybe even some animals!) Ticket prices vary, but the Wild Winter Lights will be one for the memories!

5.       The Wadsworth Griswold House. This display pays homage to National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation- and the house is IDENTICAL! They even have Cousin Eddie’s RV there too! A great homage to a great movie. The house also collect donations for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation both online and in person.

6.       Seabury Avenue and Fairview Park Light Display. Head out to Fairview Park and see over 700 houses all lit up with the streets and sidewalks lined with lights! With Seabury Avenue as one of their hotspots, seeing the entire display throughout the city is free!

7.       Keystone Road Christmas Lights in Parma is another fun display. Watch 3 houses synchronize their displays to music. Not only that, but see a few other houses in the neighborhood also decked out in Christmas spirit! Swing by, turn your radio to 91.7 FM to hear the music, and enjoy this fun display! Keystone Road is located off of Broadview Road, south of Snow Rd. Click here and to find more.

8.       The Niederst's Christmas Light Display in Rocky River is a cool one too! With a 32 foot computer controlled pixel tree, this house has it all. Check out the neighboring houses too! 22200 Lake Road, Rocky River. See link from #7 to see more about this house.

This list is just a small start!!
