Auto Loans

Drive Your Dream Car Today!

Auto loans are a common method of financing for consumers looking to purchase a vehicle without paying the full amount upfront. These loans are offered by various financial institutions, such as Unity Catholic FCU.

Credit Union Auto Loan Benefits

Credit union auto loans offer several benefits to borrowers compared to other types of auto loans. Some of the benefits of credit union auto loans include:

  1. Lower interest rates: Credit unions are known for offering lower interest rates compared to other lending institutions. This can result in significant savings for borrowers over the life of the loan.

  2. Personalized service: Credit unions are not-for-profit organizations that prioritize their members' needs over profits. Borrowers who choose a credit union auto loan can benefit from working with loan officers who provide personalized service and guidance throughout the loan process.

  3. Flexible repayment terms: Credit unions may offer flexible repayment terms, allowing borrowers to choose a loan term that fits their budget and financial goals. This can make it easier for borrowers to manage their monthly payments and pay off the loan on time.

  4. Pre-approval options: Credit unions often offer pre-approval for auto loans, giving borrowers more negotiating power when purchasing a vehicle. With a pre-approved loan, borrowers can shop for a car with confidence, knowing their budget and loan amount in advance.

  5. No prepayment penalties: Credit union auto loans may not come with prepayment penalties, which means borrowers can pay off their loans early without incurring additional fees. This can save borrowers money on interest costs and potentially allow them to pay off the loan faster.

  6. Additional perks: Credit unions may offer additional perks such as loan rate discounts for members who have other accounts or services with the credit union. This can further increase the overall value of the auto loan.

Don’t run to just any credit union for your next auto loan. At Unity Catholic FCU, we offer competitive rates, personalized loan terms, and more! With every auto loan, we ask our members which Church or School a donation of $50 should go to during our program period. To date, over $57,000 has been donated to the local Catholic community. The funds from our auto loan donations contribute to scholarship programs and capital improvements.
