Unity Spirit Week and International Credit Union Day
International Credit Union Day has been celebrated worldwide on the third Thursday of October since 1948! It’s a day of recognition for credit unions, their staff and volunteers, and their members who’ve helped millions of people go from “customer” to “member.” That’s ownership. That’s community. And that’s Unity.
Which is why we’re not just celebrating one day; we’re filling the entire week with spirit and fun with snacks, giveaways, and employee participation! Here’s our calendar of events from

MON Oct 18: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Stop by and pick up your copy of "Know the Symptoms: A Guide and Checklist to Breast Cancer”(This will be linked to the PDF you provided)
TUE Oct 19: Friends Day
Get to know an acquaintance better: ask someone to lunch; connect with your community! Unity will randomly award visiting members $10 gift cards.
WED Oct 20: National Day on Writing
Review Unity Catholic FCU on Google or Facebook and be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa Gift Card!
THU Oct 21: International Credit Union Day
Building financial health for a brighter tomorrow! Build financial health by working on your credit, refinancing, couponing, and more! Stop by and pick up a financial health notebook just for you.
FRI Oct 22: National Nut Day
Go NUTS for your credit union! Stop by a branch and pick up a nutty treat. You’ll be entered into our drawing for one of ten $50 VISA Gift Cards!
SAT Oct 23: Parma Shred Day
Bring your sensitive documents for free shredding services! At the same time, you’ll be helping Parma, Ohio, and our environment all at once. Do-goodery is part of our credit union credo.
