April is Unity Catholic’s Annual Youth Month Celebration! Youth Month encourages kids to adopt health savings habits by making saving fun. This year’s theme is “Money Magic! Share, Spend and Save!” Members 18 and younger are invited to participate in our annual National Credit Union Youth Month celebration! Keep reading to see how you can get involved!

Enter our Photo Contest!

Share a photo or drawing of what you are saving for! Time to get creative! To enter, you must be 18 or younger. One entry per youth member. Entries will have a chance of being reposted on Unity Catholic’s social media! How to enter:

Create your photo! Be sure to introduce yourself and describe what you are saving for!
Tag or DM us your photo on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Our handle is @UnityCatholic. *Please be aware that certain privacy settings may prevent us from seeing your entry. If you are unsure if we received your entry, please direct message us!

All entries are due by April 30th, 2020. Once your entry has been received, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $25 giftcard! In addition, all entries will be invited to our Youth Month Bowling Celebration in May!

Enter our Video Contest!

Share a 10 second video of your best and most outrageous savings tips! Time to get creative! To enter, you must be 18 or younger. One entry per youth member. Entries have a chance to be featured on Unity Catholic’s social media. How to enter:

Create a 10 second video of your best savings advice!
Email entries to cmwagner@unitycatholiccu.org with name of participant and contact information.
All entries must be received by April 24th, 2020.

Voting will take place on Facebook and will be open April 27th until April 30th, 2020. One vote will equal one like. Please limit to one vote per person. If you vote on multiple, your vote will not count. Winner will be announced in May and will win a $25 giftcard. In addition, all entries will be invited to our Youth Month Bowling Celebration in May.

Make a Mobile Deposit!

Use this month to teach your kids great savings habits! Each youth member who makes ONE mobile deposit to their account will be invited to our Youth Month Bowling Celebration in May! Use this punch card to make depositing money extra fun! Parents may submit their punch card to receive an invite. (You just need one deposit to be invited!).

Play the guessing game!

Guess how many chocolate coins are in the Save, Spend, Share jar display. The guess that is the closest (without going over!) wins the jars and a $25 giftcard. You can vote on our social media pages. Contest will run until May 16th, 2020 and winners will be announced at the Youth Month Bowling Celebration! Each Branch has a set of jars, so there are three chances to win!
