Holiday Gift Ideas
Holiday Gift Ideas
Coming up with gift ideas can be a hard and daunting task. You want to give the perfect gift, but some people are just impossible to buy for! To help you out, I have put together a small list of my go-to’s for Christmas Gifts! Hopefully this can spark some inspiration and you can find that perfect gift!
A candle. Everyone likes candles and it is easy to find one that isn’t too scented. Candle Day at Bath and Body Works is also the beginning of December each month, so I always go and pick out a bunch of 3 wick candles, then decide who to give them later. This year’s Candle Day is December 7th!!
A funny T-Shirt! If your gift receiver has a great sense of humor, this one is perfect for them! Try to think of a show or something that they love and search it on Amazon and Etsy. There are SO many t-shirts that you will be able to choose from! You could even customize shirts from certain vendors. Keep in mind that if the order isn’t Amazon Prime, it might take a while for the shipment to come in.
Any customizable object! I actually customize a lot of things to use as gifts! Key-chains, shirts, pillows, ornaments, Drink koozies, mugs, you name it! I have used Shutterfly and Etsy in the past, or I try to create something myself. The best part is that it surprisingly isn’t too pricey!
Cabin Socks! I know what you’re thinking. Socks? Really? But hear me out. Cabin socks from places like Dick's Sporting Goods and Target are double layered and incredibly warm. Every single girl in my family LOVES them and always asks for more! Their cheap, easy, and super cute!
DIY Body Scrub Kit! This one is super easy too! There are so many different body scrubs and face masks with similar ingredients and they are so easy to make. Just use a mason jar and make a few to give away! It’s cheap and super thoughtful. Here are a few Sugar Scrub Recipes to get you started!
Fun Board Games! There are so many new games coming around! Go to Target or Walmart and find the most bizarre game to play and give it to someone. My family used to always do this and we would spend Christmas Day playing it with our family!
A Painting! If your artsy and want to save some money, this is perfect! Even if you aren’t, you can still paint something special!
A Blanket Sweatshirt! This one is a bit more pricy (about $45, depending on what you get), but it is the softest and most comfy thing that I own and I got this for Christmas last year! Got a homebody relative or friend? This is a great idea for them. It is called The Comfy and you can find it on their website, Amazon and a few department stores. If you don’t want to spend that kind of money, a soft blanket is a great alternative too!
Outdoor Games! A quick search for Amazon Back Yard Games and you can find some fun outdoor games. A few of my favorites that I have gifted are SpikeBall, Yard Pong, and Flickin’ Chicken (yes, this is a real game). There are SO many options!
A Goodie Bag! When in doubt, go into the dollar section and buy all the goofiest stuff you could find! Add some candy for extra sweetness. You could even find fun little items on Amazon or Oriental Trading to put in there. It isn’t the most expensive gift, but it is great for friends and young kids (and it is also a great stocking stuffer!)
Hopefully, some of these ideas help you find the perfect gift! If you have any other go-to gift ideas, be sure to comment or share with us on Facebook and Twitter! We wish you the best of luck with your Holiday Shopping!
